DON HEUPEL/FOR THE NEWS CURRENT: A grid painting of Malala Yousufzai by Kenmore East high school students is on display in the corridor at the school in Tonawanda, N.Y. Yousufzai was near fatally shot in the head by the Taliban for her outspoken views on education. The fifteen-year-old Pakistani survived, and students put up posters and told Malala's stories over the school's announcements.
