Tonawanda News — The Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers will hold joint practice sessions during their 2014 and 2015 training camps, the team announced.

Under the agreement, which needs approval by the National Football League, the Bills will travel to the Steelers' camp in Latrobe, Pa. this summer while the Steelers will in turn travel to St. John Fisher College in 2015.

In interview with Bills broadcaster John Murphy Tuesday, head coach Doug Marrone welcomed the move.

“It’s something that I’ve done before, it’s something that I truly like, I truly believe in it,” Marrone said. “We are looking for certain things and things that Coach Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers bring to the table that would help us. I think there are things we can do that help them prepare for the season. We’ve talked about the schedule of what we’re going to do, when we practice together. I think it could be a very good working relationship for both teams.”

The dates and times of the team activities will be determined upon the release of the league's preseason schedule.
