Tonawanda News — The Buffalo Bills announced details Wednesday of a public celebration of the life of the team’s founder and longtime owner, Ralph Wilson.
The celebration will be hosted in the Buffalo Bills Fieldhouse this Saturday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The event will feature a walk-through exhibit featuring memorabilia and artifacts from Wilson’s life as the Bills owner. Fans will also be invited to sign a guestbook that will be presented to Wilson’s family in the future.
Team officials are advising the public this is not a tailgate party event. In addition, visitors must enter the grounds via the Big Tree Road entrance and will be guided to spaces in Lot 1 and the Fieldhouse lot by parking personnel. Parking will open at noon Saturday.
Wilson, who founded the Bills as an American Football League franchise in 1960 and was later enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, passed away last week at the age of 95.
