Bisons win streak ends at Gwinnett

Tonawanda News — The host Gwinnett Braves rallied to score two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, coming from behind, and then shut down the Buffalo Bisons in the top of the ninth to hand the Herd a 3-2 loss Tuesday night at Coolray Field in Gwinnett, Ga.

The loss ended Buffalo’s winning streak at seven games.

Rob Rasmussen (0-1) picked up the loss while also getting credited with a blown save.

Jared Goedert and Ryan Goins had two hits each for the Bisons (18-11), who play the Braves again today, beginning at 6:35 p.m.
