BUFFALO — Starting Saturday local food trucks will be heading to Buffalo’s waterfront to compete against one another in a cooking competition.
The competition, which will be called Canalside Food Fight, was announced by Buffalo Soup-Fest and Canalside Buffalo.
The competing trucks will be given a secret inspiration, which can be anything from snow to steel. It is then up to the competitors to use their food trucks to create a dish that best represents that inspiration.
The winning trucks, which will be decided by a celebrity judging panel, advance until a single grand champion is crowned at the end of the year.
The public is invited, as the trucks will also be serving during the event.
More information will be available soon and can be found on Buffalo Soup-Fest’s Facebook and Twitter pages @BuffaloSoup.
