Year: Junior

Position: Forward

The Scoop: Was an all-around player and assistant captain for the North Tonawanda hockey team this season, digging for pucks in the corner, setting up teammates and putting pucks in the net. ... As a member of the Jacks’ ‘gold line’ this season, he and his linemates — sophomore forward Curtis Vivian and senior forward Marty Clarke — combined for 36 of the team’s 52 goals. ... His 28 points were a team high, and he finished the season with the second most goals on the team (12) and a team-leading 16 assists. ... Helped lead the Jacks to an 11-4-1 record and second place finish in the Federation hockey Division III standings. ... Also helped earn NT a spot in the WNY Federation Hockey semifinals — the furthest the program had ever gone since joining Federation hockey. 

“What he was able to accomplish over the year was growing into that role of being a leader. From a coaching perspective, I was really pleased with watching him grow as a leader for the team, constantly giving 100 percent and constantly trying to get the other guys to follow.
