Kenmore West wins big over Tonawanda, 19-1


Tonawanda News — Hussar finished 2-for-4, batting in two. Both Fries and Quinlan went 2-for-2.  

Kenmore didn't let up in the seventh, Lunghino and Paul Christopher had back-to-back doubles. Hussar hit a sacrifice fly to score Lughino. Fries singled to score Christopher. Quinlan followed with an RBI base knock of his own. 

The Blue Devils finished with 25 hits. Dieboldt went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base. 

"I tell these guys it's contagious," said Haynes. "You keep getting at the plate and getting wins, there is no looking back."

Kenmore West travels to face Niagara Wheatfield at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Tonawanda will face Eden on the road today.
