LETTER: NIMAC grateful for NT support

Tonawanda News — NIMAC grateful for NT support

On behalf of the members of the Niagara Military Affairs Council, we would like to express our gratitude to North Tonawanda Mayor Robert Ortt and the city council for all of their support of the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.

From Gov. Andrew Cuomo and state Sen. George Maziarz at the state level to our congressional leadership, including Reps. Brian Higgins and Chris Collins and Sens. Chuck Schumer and Kirstin Gillibrand, to our leaders in Niagara County and dozens of local governments throughout Western New York, the air base is a community and regional asset that we all must work to protect.

NIMAC looks forward to working with our elected officials and the private sector in continuing to build this community support to ensure that the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station remains viable for generations to come.

Niagara Military Affairs Council

John Cooper, chairman Merrell Lane, vice chairman NIMAC
