City of Tonawanda

CHARGED: Marquel I. Gordon, 16, 171 Forest Ave., Buffalo, was charged at 7:32 p.m. Monday with disorderly conduct and harassment for an incident on Delaware Street.

An officer on duty saw Gordon walking south on Delaware and hitting street signs with a stick, according to police reports. Gordon then walked into the middle of the street, picked up a rock and swung at it with the stick.

A Delaware Street resident told Gordon not to hit rocks toward his home, and Gordon allegedly became confrontational with the 40-year-old man and used a racial epithet, according to police.

Gordon was released on an appearance ticket.

CHARGED: Jennifer M. Snell, 20, 48 Main St. Apt. 3, was charged at 12:07 a.m. Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Snell was released on an appearance ticket.

North Tonawanda

CHARGED: Shawn P. Garvey, 28, 471 Oliver St., was arrested Tuesday and charged with issuing a bad check. Garvey is being held in lieu of $250 bail.
