LARCENY: Three suspects allegedly went on a shopping spree using credit cards from a wallet that a 49-year-old Williamsville woman told police she dropped in the parking lot of the Tops on Niagara Street Monday afternoon.

The woman didn’t know she lost her wallet until later in the day when she received a call from her bank inquiring about $1,818.06 in purchases that were made on her debit card at the Fashion Outlets in Niagara Falls, police reported.

The suspects allegedly used the victim’s card to purchase seven pair of shoes and nine clothing items totaling $962 from Foot Locker, $220 in items from the Gap and more purchases at the Fragrance store in the mall. A cashier working at Foot Locker did not check any of the suspect’s identification, police reports say.

Moreover, the victim’s personal credit card was used to make $550 in purchases at Smokin’ Joes, and her bank card was used for two additional purchases there.

Town of Tonawanda

CHARGED: Christopher L. Johnson was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday. Police questioned Johnson because he was in a car outside an abandoned building and found him to have a warrant out of Buffalo, according to reports. Police allegedly found a crack pipe in Johnson’s sock while he was being searched, according to reports. Johnson was released to Buffalo police.

A resident flagged down police to report some kids he believed were selling marijuana and Magyar was found to be in the area with marijuana in his cigarette pack, according to reports. Magyar was released on an appearance ticket.

White, 22, East Utica St., Buffalo, were charged with third-degree criminal trespass and unlawful possession of radio devices at 10:50 a.m. Friday. Wright and White were located in the area and the book bags were found nearby. One of the book bags was found to contain a .357-cailber pistol, according to reports. Both men were held in lieu of $350 bail.
