DWI: Police charged a 64-year-old Buffalo woman with driving while intoxicated at 2:10 a.m. Thursday, according to reports.
Patrol observed a car being operated by Delia M. Mercado of 335 Summer St. Apt. 411 traveling westbound on Niagara Street at 12 mph. The car also was weaving and drove on the shoulder of the road, nearly striking the guardrail, police reported.
While interviewing Mercado, the officer smelled alcohol on her breath, and Mercado allegedly told police that she had “four or three” glasses of wine. Police reports state that Mercado stumbled numerous times while performing field sobriety tests.
Her blood alcohol content registered .13 percent, according to police reports. Mercado was held for court.
CHARGED: Crystal A. Cotton, 36, 286 Broad St. upper apartment, was charged at 11:48 p.m. Wednesday with endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly leaving her 12-year-old son home alone while she was at work for the evening, according to police reports. Cotton was released on an appearance ticket.
CHARGED: Brandon A. Dudek, 20, 13 Gath Terrace, surrendered Thursday on a warrant for an original offense of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle on March 16. Dudek was held for court.
BURGLARY: An Elm Street home was broken into sometime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday, police reported. Approximately $6,000 in jewelry and cash was taken from the residence, according to police.

CHARGED: Tabitha A. Parham, 19, 122 Camden Ave., Buffalo, was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with trespassing and petit larceny after admitting to a detective that she stole a $50 bill from 454 Roncroff St. Parham is being held in lieu of $500 bail.
Joshua M. Lockhart, 25, 119 Maple Drive, Bowmansville, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny after being found to be in possession of the $50 bill, allegedly stolen by Tabitha A. Parham of Buffalo. Lockhart is being held in lieu of $500 bail. Both individuals were additionally charged with soliciting without a permit, for which they were each held in lieu of $100 bail.
DWI: David V. Maziarz, 53, 285 Sommer St., was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated. He was released on his own recognizance.
CHARGED: Michael V. Fiegel, 21, 61 First Ave., was arrested Wednesday and charged with shoplifting and petit larceny. Fiegel is being held in lieu of $500 bail.
