Town man arrested in Utah

Tonawanda News — A Town of Tonawanda man was arrested in eastern Utah for allegedly carrying 65 pounds of marijuana in his motorhome, the state’s highway patrol division confirmed Thursday.

The arrest occurred on April 24 after authorities stopped Warren DeBiew, 57, for traffic and window tint violations on Interstate 70.

A police dog later detected drugs in DeBiew’s motorhome, and an officer found the large stash of marijuana.

The Utah Highway Patrol said in a statement that they believe DeBiew was transporting the drugs from New York to California.

He was booked at Emery County Jail and was released on bail.
