Town bank robbed

Tonawanda News — A Key Bank was robbed in the Town of Tonawanda Thursday afternoon and police are searching for the suspect.

The robbery took place at 1:36 p.m. at the bank in Delton Plaza, located at 4248 Delaware Ave. The suspect has been described as a 6-foot white male with red or brown hair. He has a mustache and was wearing a black hoodie and jeans.

“It looked like he had a weapon, but it wasn’t shown,” Capt. Joseph Carosi said.

An undetermined amount of money was taken.
