Man admits to sexually abusing girls

Tonawanda News — A 33-year-old town man has admitted to sexually abusing two young girls and taking pornographic pictures of them, Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita III said in a statement.

Shawn McIntosh, of Parkhurst Boulevard, pleaded guilty to four counts of use of a child in a sexual performance, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, four counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

McIntosh admitted he subjected two girls under the age of 11 to contact with a sexual toy and to taking pornographic pictures of them. The crimes occurred between September 2011 and January 2012. 

McIntosh will be sentenced Nov. 1 and faces maximum of 50 years in prison.
