Tonawanda News — SPCA lowers adoption fees for Independence Day

The Erie County SPCA has lowered adoption fees for all animals through July 6 to a rate of $17.76, which was created in celebration of Independence Day. Adoption fees are completely waived for cats one year and older and for dogs 10 years and older.

The special adoption fee is in effect at almost all SPCA locations, including the 205 Ensminger Road, Town of Tonawanda, the SPCA adoption sites at both the Walden Galleria and Eastern Hills Malls and several SPCA offsite locations.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, deworming, microchip ID, flea control medication, first physical at a veterinarian of choice, feline leukemia test and 30 days free veterinary insurance.
