Easter writing contest hops into third year

Tonawanda News — “I’m hoping we get as good a response this year as we have had in past years,” he said. “If you look at it through their eyes, it’s interesting. I’m looking forward to see what excites them about NT.

“We’re looking forward to reading them.”

TO TAKE PLACE The contest is open to children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Essays should, in 100 words or less, tell the Easter Bunny why they are "egg" cited to live in the City of North Tonawanda. Include an illustrastion or photograph with the essay. Applications and completed essays should be mailed c/o "Easter Writing Contest," North Tonawanda City Clerk-Treasurer Scott Kiedrowski, City Hall, 216 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda NY 14120. Applications can also be dropped off at the clerk-treasurer's office at City Hall in person. Entries must be received no later than 5 p.m. March 29, but all entries may also be placed in the 24-hour drop box located at the top of the steps at City Hall.
