Series of events to recognize Veterans

Tonawanda News — Attendees are invited to stop by the Brounshidle Post, located at 3354 Delaware Ave., for refreshments after the ceremony.

The Tonawanda Castle in the city is also taking part in the celebrations with a Veterans Day Celebration and Fundraiser from 5 p.m until 7 p.m. tonight. The tickets are $35 at the door, and the event will feature the Alex Rene Big Swing Band.

Revenue from the event will benefit the Vets HERD Foundation, which works to assist returning veterans in the Western New York area.
