Locals relieved family unhurt after tornado


Tonawanda News —

“I want to go now,” William said. “I’ll pay for the U-Haul truck, I want to take supplies over there. There are other soldiers that lost their homes there. I’m a veteran, I hate sitting back and doing nothing.”

Michelle strongly believes it was William III’s deceased grandmother Sylvia Schisler who protected his family during the tornado. For the third consecutive year, an Oklahoma City tornado left his family unscathed.

“She died 4 years ago ... ,” Michelle said. “Three years in a row now. That’s what I think saved him. She’s there protecting him. I know she is.”
