2 arrested at DWI checkpoint in city

Tonawanda News — 2 arrested at DWI checkpoint

City of Tonawanda police in conjunction with Erie County Stop DWI conducted a sobriety checkpoint from 10 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday on the Seymour Street bridge. It resulted in two DWI arrests:

• Gregory Moll, 44, of Fletcher Street, was stopped at 10:35 p.m. Moll was charged with aggravated DWI and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said Moll’s blood alcohol content was measured at 0.18 percent. He was also found to be in possession of approximately 700 milligrams of cocaine. He was held for court.

• Dimitria Naskos, 38, of Linwood Avenue, North Tonawanda, was charged with DWI and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Naskos was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. She refused a breath test.
