Tonawanda News — A portion of Tremont Street near DeGraff Memorial Hospital will be closed during daytime hours for two weeks beginning on Nov. 12, according to city engineer Dale Marshall.

The closures will take place from 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. between the Twin Cities Memorial Highway and Whiting Street as construction crews work to replace a water line.

Work is expected to be completed by Nov. 26. Detours for general traffic and access to the hospital will redirect traffic up Christiana Street.
