Tonawanda News — He and Wachowicz will travel to Las Vegas for a building supply convention next month, where he anticipates seeing more of a foreign presence than just a few years ago. Now with the confidence that more deals outside the country are possible, they are more open to seeking them out.
Like Miris, Taylor Devices, another North Tonawanda company, is increasing its presence in Asia. The company had a record-breaking year in 2012, largely due to the sale of earthquake-related equipment and military supplies. And with a stagnant construction market carrying on in the United States, those sales may become the status quo.
