Tonawanda News — North Tonawanda police arrested an Oliver Street resident Tuesday for allegedly stabbing a neighbor during a fight.
Bryan Cummings, 35, was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Cummings was involved in an altercation with the victim Tuesday afternoon, identified as Norman Koepsell. Cummings allegedly stabbed Koepsell in the chest.
Cummings fled the scene and was arrested a short time later after police pursued on the ground supported by a Border Patrol helicopter.
Koepsell was listed at Erie County Medical Center Tuesday night in stable condition.
Cummings is being held without bail.
