OVIEDO, FL —
John J. Fronczak, of Oviedo, FL, formerly of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life on Friday, December 27, 2013, at the age of 90. Born in Buffalo, NY, Mr. Fronczak resided in North Tonawanda for sixty-five years before moving to Florida in 1989. John was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W.II, serving in the China/Burma/India Theatre. He was a retired employee of Yellow Freight Trucking Co., Town of Tonawanda, and a former employee of Buffalo Bolt and Remington Rand Co. John was a very active member of the former St. Joseph's R.C. Church.
Beloved husband of 66 years to Mary M.(nee Shinar) Fronczak; dearest father of Rev. Dennis Fronczak, Mary K. (Dr. Robert) Schamberger, Gregory (Barbara) Fronczak and the late Alina Fronczak and Stephen Fronczak; proud and loving grandfather of six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two sisters and one brother. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on WEDNESDAY, January 1st from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271), where prayers will be offered on Thursday at 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 11:00 AM. John's son, Rev. Dennis Fronczak, officiating. Flowers graciously declined.
