Sally L. (nee Coole) Roth, age 80, of the City of Tonawanda, Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. A resident of Tonawanda for the past 62 years, she was a former Treasurer of DeGraff Memorial Hospital Gift Shop and a member of the Tonawanda Guild, the Women's Republican Club of Tonawanda and the Tonawanda Public Library. She was a 40-year member of the Camp Duffield Family. Sally's generosity started a much needed project to make Camp Duffield accessible for individuals with disabilities.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Frederick C. Roth; three children, Craig F. Roth of Grand Island, Betsy L. (Michael) Roth-Bogdan of Williamsville and Troy C. (Melissa) Roth of Orchard Park; five grandchildren, Delphin, Nicholas, Lauren, Lindsey and Cameron; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth Roth of Tonawanda and Mary (the late Ronald) Savage of North Tonawanda; and her special cousins, the Cookfair family. Also survived by nieces.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 11 AM - 12 Noon at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon following the visitation. The Rev. Joseph Steger will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Sally may be made to Camp Duffield, Inc., 53 Linbrook Ave., Tonawanda, NY 14150. A luncheon for Sally's relatives and friends will be held at the Eldredge Club following the Memorial Service. All are welcome.
