Stephen P. Paterson


Stephen P. Paterson, 70, of Ransomville, Friday (December 27, 2013). Stephen was born in Clearfield, PA on April 11, 1943 to James S. and Alma (Maines) Paterson. Stephen was retired from Chevrolet foundry as a repairman (Cupola), he also later retired from Yellow Freight as a Dock man. Mr. Paterson loved spending time with his grandkids, hunting, fishing, and returning to his home town Clearfield, PA to visit with family and friends. Stephen was predeceased by five brothers and one sister.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Janet Paterson; father of Teresa (Scott) Dean, Stephen P. (Tory), Jr., Judith (William) Gartee, Carrie (Chris) Marciniak, and Jeffrey Aponte; brother of Jeanne Kern; grandfather of nine; great-grandfather of two; dear friend of Sylvia Schutz and James Kitko. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, where funeral services will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie County S.P.C.A.
