NORTH TONAWANDA —
Jeune (nee Mago) Miller, age 97, of North Tonawanda, died Friday, January 3, 2014, at Beechwood Health Care Center, after a long illness. Born in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of late Frank and Madeline (nee Blake) Mago and had been a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. Mrs. Miller was a graduate of D'Youville College and also attended at the University of Buffalo and Buffalo State College. She was a high school teacher for the North Tonawanda School District until retiring in 1981. She was the wife of the late Hubert C. Miller, who died in 2000.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Karl) Brenzel; her son, H. Charles "Buck" (Lynn) Miller, Jr.; and six grandchildren, Carolyn (Joseph) Perkins, Timothy Miller, David Miller, Jeffery Miller, Kevin Miller and Kyle (Samantha Neal) Brenzel. Also surviving are a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Perkins, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM Tuesday at St. Francis Chapel, 71 Adam Street, Tonawanda. Friends invited. If desired, memorials to D'Youville College or Catholic Charities are preferred by the family.
