Barbara Holcomb


Barbara Holcomb, age 44, of the City of Tonawanda, Monday, August 19, 2013 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, following a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, she was a 1987 graduate of Tonawanda High School and volunteered for the SPCA of Erie County, Meals on Wheels and MDA.
She is survived by her parents, Raymond and Kathryn (nee Keleher) Holcomb of Tonawanda; her daughter, Sara Huey of Tonawanda; her son, Jonathan Huey of Fillmore, NY; and her brother, Raymond Holcomb of Tonawanda. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday in St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, 150 Broad St. in Tonawanda. Please assemble at the church. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions are preferred to the SPCA of Erie County or to MDA.
