Donald A. Harms

TONAWANDA — Donald A. Harms, age 83, of Tonawanda on Friday, August 30, 2013, after a long illness.  

Don was a member of the former Ascension R.C. Church and presently St. Francis R.C. Church.  Known as "Thumper" to his friends, he was an avid motorcyclist and NASCAR fan.  

Loving husband for 63 years of Rosemary (nee Brenon) Harms. Cherished father of Ronald      (Diane) Harms of North Tonawanda, Kenneth(Shirley) Harms of South Carolina,  Sandra (David) Penberthy of North Tonawanda, Janet (Jeffrey) Sylvester of Tonawanda. Father of the late Karen Harms. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  

Friends received by the family on Monday from 4-7 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156        Robinson St., North Tonawanda. Family and friends will share memories at 7:00, Monday evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at St. Francis Chapel, 73 Adam St., in Tonawanda at 10:00 AM.
