NORTH TONAWANDA —
Dalton N. Poeller, age 76, of Tonawanda, died Saturday, February 1, 2014, at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Tonawanda, he was the son of the late Frederick and Naomi (nee Redline) Poeller. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, he worked for Burkholder Construction in North Tonawanda before retiring. He was the husband of the late Anne (nee Harper) Poeller, who died in 2003; and brother of the late Fred, Robert, Calvin, Kenneth, Eugene and Keith Poeller, Margaret Wurtzenberger, Jean Kehoe and Ethel Muniack.
He is survived by his son, Paul Poeller; two grandsons, Brandon Poeller and Maxwell Poeller; and two sisters, Faith (Douglas) Threader and June(Kenneth) Brown. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM today (Wednesday) at the HAMP FUNERALHOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday. Friends invited. If desired, memorials to Hospice are preferred.
