Martin William Roman, age 23, of Bergholz, entered into rest unexpectedly on Sunday, February 3, 2013. Born in Lewiston, NY on December 18, 1989, he was the son of Kathleen (Loeschke) Roman and the late Michael Roman. Marty was a Niagara Wheatfield High School graduate and the New York Institute of Massage. He was a member of St. James Ev. Lutheran Church in Bergholz. Marty had a love of horticulture, played saxophone, guitar, drums and loved music. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and had a zest for life.
Survivors include his mother; grandmothers, Hazel Roman and Dorothy Loeschke; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his father; and two grandfathers, Martin Roman and William Loeschke.
Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz), in Wheatfield on Thursday from 6-9 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Jeff Milsten on Friday, February 8, at 11:00 AM in St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, across the street from the funeral home. Interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
