Gloria A. Jufer

GETZVILLE — Gloria A. (nee Pellegrino) Jufer, age 82, of the City of Tonawanda, died on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Beechwood Continuing Care in Getzville.  She was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Cosmo and Myra (Mesler) Pellegrino. Gloria had been employed as a waitress for over 40 years, working at the Continental Inn, Jafco Marina and Bedell's Coffee Shop in the City of Tonawanda. She retired in 1993. Gloria was a member of Tonawanda United Methodist Church in the City of Tonawanda. She enjoyed her family and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert A. Jufer; three children, Lynne (Robert) Muller of North Tonawanda; Charles Jufer of Newfane; and Noralee (Ken Grose) Taylor of North Tonawanda; six grandchildren, Nicole Baranich, Charles (Marcie) Baranich, Adam, Matthew and Rachel Jufer, and Josh Taylor; three great-grandchildren, Marea, Logan and Jayden; and one sister, Joan Yaw of Amherst, NY. She was predeceased by two sisters, Naomi Masury and Shirley Scamurra; and four brothers, Joseph, Cosmo, Richard and Ronald Pellegrino.    

Family will be present on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 8, at 10 AM.  Friends invited. Rev. Dorothea Schweitzer will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Foundation of WNY,  225 Como Park Blvd., PO Box 590, Buffalo, NY 14240.
