Jean A. Brzeczkowski, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life on Saturday, September 28, 2013. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Henry F. and Edith (nee Kolk) Brzeczkowski. A 1950 graduate of North Tonawanda High School, Jean was employed at Bell Aerospace for five years, then as an executive secretary at Carborundum Abrasive Company, Wheatfield, retiring in 1992 after 32 years of service. Jean was also a secretary of the Carborundum Management Committee for ten years. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and their bereavement committee and the former St. Joseph's R.C. Church. Jean was active in the Carborundum Alumni Association, AARP Chapter 3526 and a former volunteer usher at Artpark, Shea's Buffalo, Kleinhans, Melody Fair and the NT Inter-church Food Pantry.
Dear sister of Joan (Frank) Osypiewski of Oswego, NY, Tom (Mary Jane) Brzeczkowski of North Tonawanda and the late Henry J. Brzeczkowski; sister-in-law of Carolyn Baumann of Mentor, OH. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
No prior visitation. Private funeral services were held on Wednesday at the SABER FUNERAL HOME. Interment White Chapel Memorial Park. If desired, memorial gifts may be made in Jean's honor to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
