PANAMA CITY, FL —
William F. Robinson, 76, formerly of North Tonawanda, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Panama City, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Louise May (nee Kaiser); three daughters, Deborah Curry (Ernie Sidote), Diana Robinson, Dawn Ingersoll (Don); a brother, Thomas (Jan), all of the Tonawandas; a sister, Shirley Martin of Colorado; a sister-in-law, Sylvia (Robert, twin brother who predeceased him) of Tonawanda; a sister-in-law, Wilma Kaiser of Kentucky; six step-children, Nancy Brooks (Robert Wilk), Richard Wingrove, Jr., Steven Wingrove (Cathy), Laurie Ferenc (Robert), Daniel Wingrove (Gloria), Gary Wingrove; also survived by Valarie Nicharico, a granddaughter they raised; 21 additional grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Robinson had a combined total of 45 years at International Paper in North Tonawanda, and Stone Container of Panama City, FL. He also worked for Payne Heating & Cooling of North Tonawanda. He served honorably in the U.S. Naval Reserve. In his retirement, Mr. Robinson enjoyed gardening and fishing.
He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Viewings will be at Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, on Thursday, October 31, from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 1. Interment will be at Acacia Park Cemetery in Pendleton, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 5500 Main St., #343, Buffalo, NY 14221, or charity of one's choice.
