NORTH TONAWANDA —

Carmen (Garcia) Bordonaro, 79, of North Tonawanda, Monday, December 30, 2013, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family under the care of Niagara Hospice. Carmen was was born in Buffalo, NY on January 7, 1934 to Jose and Carmela (Ronebolos) Garcia. Carmen was a member of Ascension R.C. Church, now St. Jude the Apostle Parish, and a former employee of Pizza Junction. Carmen enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her daughter, Karen, traveling, going to Las Vegas and on cruises.
Carmen is survived by her husband, Richard J. Bordonaro. Mother of Wayne and Richard Bordonaro, Karen (Thomas) Behm. Grandmother of Allison Behm. Sister of Paulina (Robert) Abramo-Utech, Jose (Ruth) Garcia and Braulio (Mary) Garcia, the late Mary (William) Wattengel. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday from 5-9 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive (NEW LOCATION), North Tonawanda, Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 AM from St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd. Please assemble at Church. If desired, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice.
