Rose V. Preston

CITY OF TONAWANDA —

Rose V. (nee Sinatra) Preston, age 85, formerly of the City of Tonawanda, Sunday, January 19, 2014. A resident of Tonawanda for 60 years, she was the wife of Elmer A. Preston, who died in 1992; and was the mother of Robert Preston, who died in 2011. Rose enjoyed working for JC Penney's at the Boulevard Mall for 40 years. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family.
She is survived by two sons, James (Sandra) Preston and Michael (Diane) Preston; and her daughter-in-law, Dawn (the late Robert) Preston; and six grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Mae (the late Joseph) Young and Anthony Sinatra. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Brenda (the late Anthony) Sinatra; her loving niece, Patricia (John) Bauer; and several nephews.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday in St. Timothy's RC Church, 565 East Park Dr., Town of Tonawanda. Friends invited. The Rev. Msgr. James Connelly will officiate. Entombment will be in
Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14217.
