David L. Pittman, Jr.

ARIZONA — David L. Pittman, Jr., 75, of Arizona, formerly of North Tonawanda, Friday (March 23, 2012) in  Hospice House in Arizona. Mr. Pittman was born in Buffalo on December 21, 1936 to David L. and Anna (Aiken) Pittman. David was a retired Metro Bus Driver for the NFTA,  a former member of Our Lady of Czestochowa, where he called the numbers at bingo, and was a former Golden Glove Boxer. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, pinnacle and backgammon, chess and fishing. David was predeceased by his wife, Joan E. (Smykla) Pittman.

Mr. Pittman is survived by his wife, Irine Pittman;  beloved father of Maryellen Schear, David J. (fiancee' Michele McCaslin) Pittman, Laura Zwetsch, Martin P. (Kathy) Pittman, Julie A. Pittman and Joann P. Ford; brother of Donald (Diane), Annmarie (Terry) Howard, the late Catherine Mundy and  the late Daniel Pittman; grandfather of 13; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday only from 5-7 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, where funeral services will follow at 7 PM. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
