Mary Wielgosz


Mary (nee Wasieczko) Wielgosz, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 17, 2014 in her 93rd year, at Northgate Health Care Facility, after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Wielgosz was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church for over 65 years. She enjoyed making puzzles, playing dominoes and cards and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Wielgosz; devoted mother of Katherine (Paul) Henninger, Joseph (Susan) Wielgosz, Christine (Michael) Smith and Frances Kingston; cherished grandmother of Jason (Jennifer) Henninger, Kelly and William (Jennifer) Smith, Keith and Kevin Kingston, John, Michael and David Wielgosz; loving great-grandmother of Leia Smith. Predeceased by her five brothers, Metro (Catherine), Roman (late Lillian), John (Helen), Stephen (late Emily) and Walter (late Katy). Also survived by her sister-in-law, Rita Kawski; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on WEDNESDAY, April 23rd from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271). Family and friends are asked to gather at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on THURSDAY, April 24th at 9:30 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Mary's honor to a charity of one's choice.
