Jennie R. Zalikowski

BUFFALO — Jennie R. (nee Dalfonso) Zalikowski, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life suddenly,  Friday, July 19, 2013, in her 89th year, at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Buffalo, NY, Mrs.      Zalikowski resided in North Tonawanda for the past 21 years. She was a former employee of Tops Market where she was a demo lady. Jennie was a past president of the V.F.W. Post 1488 and a lector at St. Jude the Apostle Parish and at the former St. Albert the Great Church. She enjoyed knitting and was an avid bingo player at the Knights of Columbus, North Tonawanda.

Wife of the late Raymond F. Zalikowski. Dearest mother of Linda (James) Hoerner of North Tonawanda, Charles Zalikowski of Lockport, and Cindy (Donald) Koszuta of Buffalo. Proud and loving grandmother of Jennifer (William) Berryman, Kariann (Thomas) Kiener, Jonathan (Catherine) Hoerner, Samuel and Daniel Koszuta and great-grandmother of Victoria and MacKenzie. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and her faithful companion, Lady.

The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on SUNDAY, July 21 from 7-9 PM and MONDAY, July 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271). Family and friends are asked to gather at St. Jude the Apostle Parish (800 Niagara Falls Blvd.) for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on TUESDAY at 11:30 AM. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
