PALMETTO, FL —
Mary Lou (Martin) Maguire, age 75, a resident of Palmetto, FL and a former resident of Flemington, NJ passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2013, into the loving arms of our Lord and with friends and family who preceded her.
She was born in Tonawanda, NY to Jennie and James Martin and was a graduate of Tonawanda High School. It was in Tonawanda, NY that she married Andrew Maguire. They eventually moved to Flemington, NJ, where they raised their family spending many fun filled summers at their home on Silver Beach at the Jersey Shore. Mary Lou worked for the New Jersey DOT for over 10 years before her retirement. Mary Lou dedicated her life to raising her children with love and compassion, forever putting their needs before her own. Her warmth and humor put a smile on the face of everyone she met. She also held a special spot in her heart for her beloved animals.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Maguire of Palmetto, FL, Kevin Maguire of Portland, ME; and her daughter and son-in-law, Christine Maguire-King and Jeffrey King of Lake Worth, FL.
All are welcome to attend a Memorial Service in celebration of Mary Lou's life at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Skyview Village Clubhouse, 420-49th Street East, Palmetto, FL.
