Gary D. Warner


Gary D. Warner, 53, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday, (July 9, 2014). Mr. Warner was a lifetime resident of North Tonawanda. He was born on April 25, 1961 to George R. and Josephine (Suhina) Warner, Jr.
Gary was a shipping and receiving operator for Smurfit Stone - Niagara Sheets in Wheatfield, NY, where he worked with his close friends. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed The Camp, great outdoors man, enjoyed mentoring his son's hockey and motor cross sports, watching football, and in his spare time, he liked spending time with his kids and granddaughter. Gary was predeceased by his parents, George Warner, Jr. and Josephine Warner.
Gary is survived by his wife, Sherry (Smith) Warner; father of Shawn (Heidi) Rance, and Zachary Warner; brother of Gail (Charles) Wildt, Sharon, Ricky (Nicki) Warner, Donna (Andrew Bille) Wielgus, Papa of Bellagrace Rance. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10 AM - 12 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, (New Location), North Tonawanda, where funeral services will follow. Memorials may be made to the Niagara Wheatfield Blades 16UAA in memorial of Gary Warner. The Rev. Jeremy Lopez officiating.
