Shirley G. Riley

NORTH TONAWANDA — Shirley G. Riley (Buffett), 78, of North Tonawanda, Thursday, February 13, 2014, in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, surrounded by family, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Mrs. Riley was born in Ogdensburg, NY on January 31, 1936 to John H. and Georgiana (Perkins) Buffett. Shirley was an active member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. She was a retired nurse with Head Start for North Tonawanda and also worked for several different doctor's offices through the years. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, baking and traveling with her husband.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 58 years, Patrick A. Riley, Sr.; mother of Patrick A. (Joanne) Jr., Kelly Rodriguez and the late Shaun Marie Hy; sister of Paulie (Wes) Erps, Richard (Janet), Roger (Rita) Buffett and the late James, Jackie and Joanne Buffett. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM from St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 61 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda. (Please assemble at church). Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
