NORTH TONAWANDA —
Raymond Dusenbury went to be with his Lord on October 3, 2013, just before the age of 85. Raymond was born in South Carolina on November 8, 1928, the son of Henry and Mabel. Raymond was predeceased by two brothers, Van and Vernon; and a sister, Carolyn, who had polio.
Ray served his country as an Air Force mechanic in the Korean War. He met his wife, Madeline, while on leave in New York City, and they had a letter-writing romance of three years. After marrying in 1954, Raymond and Madeline resided in North Tonawanda for 59 years. Raymond was employed by Remington Rand and then retired from DeGraff after 25 years of service.
Raymond was father to Linda (Keith) Harvey; and son, John Dusenbury. He also had two grandchildren, Amy and Philip Harvey, who loved their Papa very much.
He was a University of Buffalo organ donor. He adored his wife; she was the love of his life. Madeline will miss him; her life won't be the same.
