Chester F. Frankowski


Chester F. Frankowski, age 86, of North Tonawanda, Sunday, September 15, 2013 at his residence. Chester was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. He was a WWII Navy Veteran serving with the Seabees. He worked for the Wurlitzer Co. in North Tonawanda for 15 years as a purchasing agent. He also worked for Edwards High Vacuum in Grand Island for 10 years and Balzers Tool Coating in Amherst for 15 years. He was the husband of Lynne E. Frankowski, who died in 1996.
Dear father of Chester E. Frankowski of the Town of Wheatfield, Daryl G. Frankowski of North Tonawanda, Mark S. Frankowski of Niagara Falls and Lynette B. Frankowski of North Tonawanda; grandfather of four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother of Jean Dezik of New Port Richie, FL and the late Irene Litwinski, Stanley and Matthew Frankowski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment was in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery.
