Carl H. Olsen

BUFFALO — Carl H. Olsen, age 76, of Wheatfield, formerly of Briarcliff Manor, NY, died Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Dobbs Ferry, NY, he was the son of the late Herbert and May (nee Schultz) Olsen and was an Army veteran. Mr. Olsen was employed as a supervisor at the General Motors Plant in North Tarrytown, NY until retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn (nee Vanderheite) Olsen; three daughters, Carolyn Olsen, Debora Olsen and Amy (Leonard) Roman; two grandchildren, Jesse and Jake Roman; and his sister, Margaret Olsen.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at St. Theresa R.C. Church on Pleasantville Road in Briarcliff Manor. Friends invited. Interment at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
