Robert E. Foster

PHOENIX, AZ —

Robert E. Foster, age 88, of the City of Tonawanda, died on Friday, April 12, 2013. Born in Cleveland, OH to the late Fred and Nuba (Barns) Foster, he had been a resident of the City of Tonawanda for the greater part of his life and was the husband of Bonnie (nee Gibson) Foster, who died in 2011, and father of Robert C. Foster, who died in 2009.  Mr. Foster was a US Marine Veteran of WW II, and an active member of Tonawanda United Methodist Church.
He is survived by one son, David C. Foster of the City of Tonawanda.
There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 20th at 12 Noon, at Tonawanda United Methodist Church, 221 Morgan St., City of Tonawanda. Rev. Dorothea Schweitzer will officiate. Entombment will be in Serenity Mausoleum in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., Tonawanda.
