Marvin T. Heft

LOCKPORT — Marvin T. Heft, of North Tonawanda, age 80, passed away July 2, 2013, at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, following a brief illness.

Mr. Heft was born February 12, 1933 in North Tonawanda, son of the late William and Margery (nee Schick) Heft.

Marvin attended local schools and graduated from North Tonawanda High School. He went on to attend Erie County Technical College where he majored in electrical technology. Mr. Heft served in the United States Army from 1953 to his honorable discharge in 1955.

Marvin was Vice President and job foreman for Fowler Electric which was in North Tonawanda. Marvin's hobbies included traveling with his late wife, Anne, and his love of his family pets.

Husband of the late Anne M. Heft, who passed away in 2012; father of Laura Anne Heft and the late Andrew P. Heft, who passed away in 2003; grandfather of Michael Daken; brother of Lucille (Allen) Johnson of Apache Junction, AZ, late Margery Heft, late William and late Sophie Heft; brother-in-law of Peggy Steckel of Billings, MT and Louann Beed; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice in Marvin's memory. Arrangements by Wattengel Funeral Home.
