Thelma Boeheim


Thelma (Fingerlow) Boeheim, 89, of North Tonawanda, Tuesday, December 24, 2013, in DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility. Mrs. Boeheim was born in Buffalo, NY on September 9, 1924 to Clinton and Gladys Fingerlow. Thelma was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. She was a avid golfer, bowler, and bocce ball player up until her illness.
Mrs. Boeheim was predeceased by her husband, Melvin Boeheim, who died in 1989. Thelma is survived by her son, Keith (Dianne) Boeheim; grandmother of Matthew (Jackie), and Kathrine Boeheim; great-grandmother of Aidan and Marshall; sister of the late Ruth Duerr, William and Ralph Fingerlow. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a time to be announced from St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 61 Payne Avenue, North Tonawanda, NY. Arrangements by Wattengel Funeral Home.
