NORTH TONAWANDA —

Michael Wallace Kisiel, 76, of North Tonawanda, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 4, 2014. Michael was the budget director at Niagara Community College for thirty-years, retiring May 5, 1994. He enjoyed life and travel and his Indy dog. His parents, Michael and Irene (nee Tomaszewski) Kisiel; and his brother, Dennis Kisiel predeceased him.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of forty-seven years, Jean (nee Fliss) Kisiel; son, Lieutenant Colonel James Michael (Mandy Lynn) Kisiel; brother, Donald (Karen) Kisiel; grandchildren, Shelby, Meghan and Sam Kisiel; and nieces and nephews.
Michaels family would like to personally thank the North Tonawanda Fire Department for their professionalism and everything they did for their husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Relatives and friends please assemble at church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2014 by Reverend John Posiewala at St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY. Following the Memorial Mass, everyone is invited for lunch at the parish hall.
