NORTH TONAWANDA —
John M. Dubickas, age 79, of North Tonawanda, died Friday, June 7, 2013, at Northgate Manor, after a long illness. Born in Taylor, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary (nee Nemetz) Dubickas and had been a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. John was an auto salesman at the former Colonial Ford in Tonawanda and then owned Duby Marine, Inc. in North Tonawanda, until retiring. He was a member of the Antique and Classic Boat Society and the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (nee Thompson) Dubickas; four children, Catherine (Steven) Wingrove, Paul (Linda) Dubickas, Scott (Valerie) Dubickas and David J. Dubickas; three sisters, Rosemary, Ann Michele and Barbara; and a brother, Stanley. Also surviving are nine grand-children and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 3-7 PM on Tuesday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held at 7 PM Tuesday. Friends invited. If desired, memorials to Niagara Hospice or the American Diabetes Assn. are preferred by the family.
