Milton R. "Skip" Fingerlow

NORTH TONAWANDA —

Milton R. "Skip" Fingerlow, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life, suddenly, on Friday, May 3, 2013 in Zephyrhills, FL, after a brief illness. He was born in North Tonawanda on December 10, 1939, a son of the late Albert and Elsie (Wilson) Fingerlow. Skip was a retired employee of the North Tonawanda Dept. of Public Works. He enjoyed bluegrass music, camping and was an avid toy train collector.
Husband of the late Diane M. (nee Gasior) Fingerlow; dearest father of Norman (Christine) Fingerlow, David (Susan) Fingerlow, both of North Tonawanda, Steven (Brenda) Fingerlow of Columbus, OH, James Fingerlow and Daniel Quigley, both of North Tonawanda; loving companion of Millicent Walker of North Tonawanda; proud and loving grandfather of Amme Fingerlow, Kyle (Megan) Wendt, Lisa (Tom) Tompkins, Stacey (Nick) Clause, David, Jr. (Jamie) Fingerlow, Sarah (Josh) Sheets, Jeffrey Fingerlow and Steven Fingerlow; and great-grandfather of seven great-grandchildren; dear brother of Betty Radish of North Tonawanda, the only living sibling of seventeen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on WEDNESDAY, May 8th and THURSDAY, May 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271) where prayers will be offered on Friday at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
